Job Description
Job Title : Assistant Program Management
Department : Sales & Marketing
Reports To : Program Management (a position currently OPEN); Vice President-Sales & Marketing
Status : Regular Hours
Location :Shanghai Office
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
1.2 to 4 years experience as a Program Manager, with automotive-related background at either an OEM, TierⅠorⅡcompany, being desired.
2.Commercial responsibility for a sold product.
3.Experience in managing Engineering Changes and negotiating price adjustment.
4.Outgoing personality – able to handle commercial pressure from customer level.
5.Prepare to attend and lead involvement in customer program planning meetings.
6.Very analytical, with attention focus to detail. Must be well-organized and be able to put in place solid follow-up system, status reports and flow charts re programs under review.
7.Brief Company Management on a routine basis, so as to provide update on program(s) status and provide a level of comfort that he / she has full control.
QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY COMPETENCES
1.College Graduate, with some Engineering background. Additional studies would be useful and encouraged.
2.Ability to compose correspondence and other required documentation.
3.Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multi-task.
4.Detailed-orientated and well organized.
5.Excellent spelling, grammar and proof-reading skills.
6.Strong computer and system skills.
7.Fluent in Chinese and ability to converse / read / write English.
8.JD Edwards software knowledge would be useful.
9.Excellent phone etiquette and personal manner to build strong relationships.
10.Be a self-starter and take ownership at every opportunity.
